What We've Done
“Barn/Stable Conversion! This old stables was out of use and forgotten about. This customer wanted a bbq/bar area but due to this house being a 14th century build (which means it’s grade 2 listed) we had to be careful. We used old materials that we found lying around the house so that we could keep its original and rustic. The window is original and we left in the old barn, to put good use. The patio is original yorkstone so we incorporated this with the new bar to keep its character. This is exactly what the customer had in mind 🙌🏻”
“Before and after photos of a kitchen I finished not long ago. The original kitchen was closed off and felt very small. I wanted it to feel brighter and bigger. This breakfast bar style makes this a very practical kitchen with the space I had. A very enjoyable project that kept me busy. Oak work tops and all appliances are integrated/built-in. To save money, all the side panels and pelmets have been made out of MDF and hand painted. The colour was matched to the Howdens’ units that were supplied in Marine Blue Matte.”
“An enjoyable personal project that’s kept me busy! Im very pleased with this complete transformation It included a complete re-wire of all the electrics, it had all new plumbing and I used tiles with porcelain marble effect. I built the sink unit and bath panel out of MDF and hand painted it for a lovely finish. To complete my sink unit, I chose a piece of granite that had a sparkling tone throughout. In order to create the look I wanted for this bathroom, I opted for just 1 double glazed window to fit around the shower.”

“This driveway was very dirty and was needing a replenish of new stones. We scraped back all the old stones and made sure the base was correct and ready to hold a whole new load. The stones in the pictures are called Everest Blue chippings, 20mm. As you can see, this makeover was needed and was a satisfying one!”
“Brazilian black slate coping stones with black slate granite on the pillars and curved wall. The coping stones were laid with black cement and were weather pointed to give it a nice finish. The curve was more difficult to fit coping stones on so instead I got the granite guys in to template and cut it. They did the tops of pillars in granite too. This was a double-layered granite with a chamfer to create a thicker aesthetic. As you can see it is a lovely finish. Another very happy customer!”
